A relative or family friend comes for a visit, and his whole body starts shaking in excitement (especially his feet). Little Bear is then handed to said visitor and after a moment of skepticism or awe, he leans forward to claim his prize (normally punctuated with some gabbling). He needs to be a little more careful with other babies though!...
When playing with his little friends, he's so far managed to steal another baby's toy, attempt to take another's milk only to realise he wasn't hungry throwing the bottle to the ground, hijack someone else's pushchair, and refused to return said stolen toy to baby who politely asks for it back. Clearly we'll need to set some boundaries when he's older. But there's love there too.
He's also started getting excited by toddlers. He went to a birthday party last week, and before having way too much fun in the ball-pit, he joined in pass-the-parcel. Besides trying to eat the wrapping paper, then eat the stickers he won, he really wanted to get the attention of the other kids (at one point trying to eat the dress of the girl next to him). Although they were much less interested in him, it's only a matter of time before this little socialite starts making every party in town.
I'm Dave, dad of Little Bear. Also known as 'Pappa' to the little man as we try and bring out his Swedish roots
